About Us

Immanuel-St. Paul's Lutheran Church is a dual parish organization that is a part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod denomination located in rural Southwestern Illinois. As a dual parish orgnization, both churches have the same pastor and cooperate on a variety of issues but maintain their own leadership and voting bodies. The current pastor of Immanuel and St. Paul is Reverend Sean Smith.

In the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all and to rise to life again; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's Word and Sacraments.
